According to the Good Pub Guide 2013 released today, Brunning and Price have been named Pub Group of the Year. Based in the North West of England and North Wales the pub has continued to grow now reaching to the South of England, it seems a long time since 1981 when owner Jerry bought the freehold of The Bell Inn in Surrey. Each pub will have its own unique style with a mixture of cask ales and fresh food. Brunning and Price look to offer informal places for people to meet, eat and drink with friends.
The Good Pub Guide lists 4,700 pubs including 252 new entries this year, the guide highlights that the price of the average meal has increased by 1% and one in four pubs have cut their prices. There have also been fewer complaints from readers than at any point in the history of the guide.
